My Service dog Koko was denied entry inside this business, one of the beauticans, said to me that he had to check with ower, which he apparently didn't do, because while my Grandaughter got her hair done ,Koko and I waited in my daughter's car until my Grandaughter's hair was done.
Koko is a extremely well behaved, he has been welcomed in numerous businesses in the Radclif, Elizabethtown and Vine Grove communities. As a Disabled Veteran I have been extremely sick and in pain, Koko is a big part of my life and health needs and it really stressed me out that he wasn't allowed in this business.
Being this beauty salon is located surrounding Fort Knox Military and a huge Veteran's communities they need to become familiar with the Federal laws governing Service dogs and the Veterans that may access their services. Being that they're not familiar, that is ashame and disgraceful to the Veterans who has Service dogs, especially the ones who are blind.
I pray that another Veteran, Soldier and Diabled individual doesn't have to be treated the way my service dog and I was treated.
