Morgan's Cave

This is a natural spring cave used by John Hunt Morgan's men. The cave is off limits due to the protection of bats that use the cave. The 1/2 mile trail starting at the street is quite steep and can be slippery if it is raining or has been in recent days. The creek at the base of the steps is fed by a spring in Morgan's cave. Cross the small creek and use the trail to access the cave entrance. Unfortunately the entrance has been banned admittance to protect wildlife.
