Stivers Heating & Air Cond

Stivers installed my HVAC three years ago. First I would recommend them and in particular Billy as your point of contact. I had to tweak a few installation issues but no biggies. Issue I had two years down the road are contained in the two pictures attached. The furnace is sitting on four bricks and the installation manual says you can install the furnace on bricks as well. However, as I found the furnace is not supported along the long length and bottom plate will sag. The pictured gap is about 1/8" at the center on both sides. This is your clean filtered air and plenty of vacuum to boot. I had significant dust issues through the house until I sealed all around the cabinet. That is not an easy task on three of the sides. The installation manual I got has a installation checklist and my suggestion is to have the installers fill it out and sign the document before you pay them. If you are mounted on bricks ask questions knowing my experience.
