I'd like to say thank you so much. You did so much better than what I was expecting after reading and hearing so many bad things about your department. I dropped my father off at a Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems he had gotten through a temp service in Columbia Kentucky. I was not allowed to stay on the property and sleep in my car for some unknown reason even though my father was working there. So I read online where people said to call the local police department and ask if they had any safe public place that a person could possibly park and sleep. I called and asked the woman working dispatch. She told me of the bowling park. She was very friendly and helpful. She said she'd let the officers on duty know that I was there. About 3 hours later I heard my dog barking and a knock on the window. I looked out and it was the police. Two officers just stopped to check on me since it was cold out and wanted to know why I didn't get a room somewhere. I told them we were trying to save as much money as possible. Told them we hate wasting money on gas to come and go such a distance. They seemed very understanding. They told me about a room at the park that if I really felt I needed something that it was there. They obviously checked my license as they should. Definitely outdid there job. I forgot to get the officers names but I'd like to say thank you so so much. Thank you to all the two officers and dispatcher.
